What are your office hours? Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Sat & Sun 8am to12 noon.
How do I make changes to my booking? Just call us 09 425 7599 or email us info@warkworthcarrentals.co.nz what you need.
What is considered as a half day truck hire? Half days hires are for trucks only hours are 8am to 1pm or 12 noon to 5pm outside these hours are a day hires
What is considered as a one- day hour? One day hire is more than 5 hours up to a maximum of 24 hours
What drivers license do you accept? All our cars vans and trucks can be driven on a class 1 license
Is there a bond? Yes we do require $500.00 bond that we can hold on a credit card or cash. Refunded after all payments are made.
How do I pay? Payment is made upon pick up by either credit card or Eftpos. We require a valid credit card to be held on file to confirm the booking. This is to cover any insurance costs, road tolls, or infringement fines obtained during your hire. If you cannot produce a credit card with funds we will require a cash bond of $500.00
Do you charge extra for credit cards? Yes 3%
What happens if the vehicle breaks down or I have an Accident? First of all make sure you are safe and not injured. Call the police if you need to then notify us as soon as you can. We will then help you and advise what to do next.
Who pays for the fuel? The hirer of the vehicle – as you will have a full tank of gas upon pick up so we ask that you bring it back full.
If the vehicle is bought back with low or no fuel we will charge you the amount of fuel + a $20 fuel up fee.
How do I pay road tolls? Road tolls are charged to our account and past on to you at the end of the hire.
How does insurance work? If your vehicle is damaged while you are hiring it, you will be responsible. This includes tyre punctures and windscreen chips/cracks. We encourage our customers to take out our insurance excess reduction option. If you choose to take out no insurance cover with us, we strongly recommend having your own private insurance.
The terms of insurance cover are outlined in the hire agreement which you will sign at the time of pick up.
Where can I or can't I travel? All our vehicles are for road use only.
How can I pick up or drop off after hours? This can be done by arrangement just ask us.
Do you offer unlimited kms? Yes all car hires are unlimited kms.
Do you have any 4 x 4, flat deck trucks or towing vehicles? No sorry none
